  • 1. Borderless coins cannot be purchased
    1.Please make sure your credit card number, expiration date, name and cvc are correct. 2.Please make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi, or if you are not using Wi-Fi, make sure you are in an environment where communication is possible.
  • 2. Translation not available
    Please make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi, or if you are not using Wi-Fi, make sure you are in an environment where communication is possible. The API of Google Translate is used, and cannot be used in environments where Google Translate is not available. Do you have any Borderless coins left? If not, please purchase Borderless coins. Did you press the white ○ (microphone) button at the bottom of the screen? Please press the button and talk after the ○ turns blue. You better speak clearly and slowly It may not work if there is a lot of noise around it. For example, if it is windy, there is a lot of traffic, you are on a train, there is music playing, or there is a lot of noise. Please change "Silence time between sentences" and "Microphone sensitivity" in the settings screen and speak again. Immediately after tapping the white 〇 (microphone) button at the bottom of the conversation screen , confirm that the light in the upper right corner lights up (a sign that the smartphone's microphone is turned on) before starting a conversation. After tapping the eraser button in the upper right corner, try rephrasing with a shorter sentence. Please close the Borderless Talk application completely, and if there are other applications running, close them before using Borderless Talk. Please restart your smartphone and then try Borderless Talk again.
  • 3. Translation takes time
    It may take up to 5 seconds to determine the language. If you speak in long sentences, you may not be able to translate. If the translation does not return, please tap the eraser button in the upper right corner, then try rephrasing the sentence with a shorter version. You better speak clearly and slowly
  • 4. Translation is incorrect
    Press the eraser button in the upper right corner and then speak again slowly and loudly. If you speak in a language other than your native tongue, or if you speak in a way that is difficult to understand, you may not be able to determine the language correctly. If something is not said in your language during translation, please try speaking slowly or rephrasing.
  • 5. I can't get back to the conversation screen.
    From the settings screen (navigated by 三 at the bottom right of the conversation screen) or user information screen (navigated by 👤 at the bottom left of the conversation screen), you can return by tapping ← at the top left of the settings screen or user information screen. From the tutorial screen, you can return by tapping (Start) on the fourth page. From the contact/word collection, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, FAQ, etc. page, press ← in the lower left corner for Android. From the contact/word collection, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, FAQ, etc. page, press ← in the upper left corner for iPhone.
  • 6. Do you support any national languages?
    As of the 2023 release, 13 languages are supported -- Japanese, English, Vietnamese, Chinese (Simplified), Korean, Portuguese, Thai, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and Bulgarian. There are plans to increase the number in the future. When more are added, we will announce it on the Around Innovation website (https://www.around-innovation.biz/).
  • 7. Are there any other costs besides the borderless coins?
    In addition to the borderless coins, there is no cost for using the application when using Wi-Fi, but there is a separate communication fee if Wi-Fi is not used.
  • 8. Is the content of the conversation stored anywhere?
    We do not save your conversations when translating. Please feel free to use this service.
  • 9. I want to practice how to use it.
    It is recommended that you first set my language in the settings screen (go to the bottom right of the main screen with 三) to a language other than your native language in order to try the language that is most likely to be translated before you speak it. Use borderless coins for this purpose.
  • 10. Can I get a refund for my Borderless coins?
    Once purchased, Borderless Coins are non-refundable. However, they do not expire and can be used until the remaining time reaches zero.
  • 11. The app crashed.
    Forced termination may occur when there is not enough available memory on the smartphone side.

    The native language setting can be selected under "My Language" in Settings. The other party's language can be selected by tapping "No Language" on the screen before starting a conversation. However, only supported languages can be selected.
